The Coordinator is responsible for a defined scope of work, ensuring progress aligns with safety, quality, schedule, cost, and contractual requirements. Key duties include liaising with engineering, construction, quality, clients, and subcontractors, maintaining positive client relationships, and supporting the implementation of the project schedule and budget. The role also involves preparing technical documents, delivering construction work packages, and providing status reports to the Project Manager.
Work may include short‑term field service assignments on CANDU Field Services projects, often during customer outages, where the employee may operate in a radiological environment after appropriate training and supervision.
Candidates should hold a university degree, with a BSc in Engineering considered an asset, and have experience supporting construction, manufacturing, or engineering projects. An appreciation for Quality Assurance programmes in the nuclear sector, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to build customer relationships are essential.
