- Support the Controller in establishing accounting policies, controls, and procedures to enhance financial statement reliability and audit readiness.
- Develop and maintain corporate accounting policies and manuals consistent with U.S. GAAP and company operations.
- Oversee preparation of footnote disclosures related to leases, investments, commitments, contingencies, and equity interests.
- Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with U.S. GAAP disclosure requirements.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical accounting memos supporting accounting conclusions for management and auditors.
- Coordinate and manage the external audit process, serving as the primary contact for auditors on technical and reporting matters.
- Serve as the company’s subject matter expert on complex U.S. GAAP accounting matters, including: Lease accounting (ASC 842), Joint venture accounting (ASC 323 / ASC 810)
- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.

- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 public accounting and corporate technical accounting or financial reporting roles.
