As the General Manager Network Operations, you will lead one of nbn’s most critical functions, ensuring the resilience and reliability of Australia’s digital backbone. You will oversee the end-to-end management of network operations, including major incident response, emergency preparedness and restoration, network change and power resilience strategies. Your leadership will shape how we manage planned and unplanned outages, safeguard service continuity, and deliver on our purpose of uplifting Australia’s digital capability.
This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence across a complex, 24x7 environment. You will be the senior liaison with Retail Service Providers, government agencies, and emergency services, ensuring collaboration and clarity during high-pressure situations. From leading major incident management across multiple technologies to optimising power strategies and resilience programs, your decisions will have a direct impact on millions of Australians. You will also champion customer experience initiatives, working across the business to embed improvements that strengthen trust and transparency.
