CAD BIM Technician

Description

• Converting point cloud survey data into accurate existing condition drawings and 3D models in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Documenting key building systems, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Set the Standard: Be a role model for professional behavior, fostering a workplace culture that motivates and inspires others.
• Preparing and quality-checking Revit models, drawings, and deliverables.
• Preparing clear reports, drawing documentation, and digital project files.

• Supporting other production-related tasks as assigned.
• Maintaining accuracy, precision, and attention to detail in all deliverables.

• Champion Key Initiatives: Play a vital role in driving Sevan-wide initiatives like Safety and Sustainability, ensuring positive impacts for our people and the planet.

Requirements

• Knowledge of point cloud data workflows (Recap, Cyclone, or similar software).
• Highly proficient with computers, cloud storage systems, Microsoft Office applications, and video conferencing tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 2+ years of experience creating building drawings and construction layouts using AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of commercial building design standards, methods, and materials.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality production work without direct oversight.
• Revit experience a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines independently in a remote environment.
• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Knowledge of ADA standards is preferred.
