As the Platform Leader for Power Systems, you will drive the development and execution of the power systems platform roadmap, leveraging deep expertise in power electronics, control systems, and grid integration to deliver innovative and reliable solutions while inspiring and mentoring a talented engineering team.
You will define and champion the technical vision for the solar and storage portfolio, ensure rigorous alignment between product requirements and engineering execution, lead the evaluation and integration of advanced semiconductor devices and control algorithms, guide subsystem integration with batteries and grid infrastructure, oversee testing phases, and guarantee compliance with standards such as IEEE 1547, UL 1741, UL 9540, and NFPA 855.
- Define and champion technical vision and strategy for the power systems platform within the solar and storage portfolio.
- Ensure alignment between product requirements and engineering execution, providing hands‑on technical guidance.
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate cutting‑edge power semiconductor devices, converter topologies, and advanced control algorithms.
- Guide integration of power electronics subsystems with batteries, plant controls, and grid infrastructure.
- Oversee testing phases (FAT, SAT, commissioning) and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned.
- Ensure designs comply with grid codes and standards such as IEEE 1547, UL 1741, UL 9540, and NFPA 855.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing engineering team fostering innovation and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to engineering, product management, and external partners.

Preferred qualifications include a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, a proven record of leading engineering teams, a passion for renewable energy, and the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
