- Assist with drafting and design tasks for substation projects, including physical and civil layout drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Learn and apply POWER’s standards, procedures, and processes in project execution

- Associate’s degree or technical certification in drafting, or equivalent industry experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, ideally in a substation engineering environment
- Experience using Autodesk Raster Design and Bentley Descartes
- Legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship
- Demonstrate initiative and attention to detail in assigned tasks
- 5+ years of experience in substation design/drafting (control and/or physical design) environment
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and accountable for assigned responsibilities
- Strong mathematical skills and experience working with scaled drawings
- 3+ years of experience in a substation design/drafting (control and/or physical design) environment.
- Knowledge of substation electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and/or substation physical/civil drawings
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with ProjectWise File Management System
- Strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills in order to work effectively with other team members
