Description

The Driver Helper rides on the vehicle and assists the driver in delivering prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services to customers on a designated residential route. Responsibilities include safely loading waste, carrying bags and containers to the vehicle, and directing the driver from the ground while also helping maintain vehicle and work‑area cleanliness.

Key duties involve operating the packing mechanism and various levers to lift and load waste, cleaning the packer blade, truck body, hopper, and spray equipment after each disposal trip, and performing comprehensive pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections in line with company policy. The helper also monitors waste for unacceptable material, cleans accidental spills according to safety standards, and ensures adherence to productivity and safety requirements.
