The Property Administrator – Engineering provides administrative support to the Engineering and Property Management Team, ensuring professional handling of property issues and prompt resolution of tenant requests and concerns.
Daily responsibilities include managing correspondence, scheduling meetings and events, assisting with lease administration and insurance documentation, preparing bid proposals and service contracts, coding invoices, and maintaining office supplies and contract files. The role also monitors the work order and purchase order systems, generates monthly status reports, assists with management reporting and budget preparation, and processes staff hours, tenant bill‑back invoices, expense reports, meter readings, and check requests.
Key competencies required are strong oral and written communication, customer focus, organizational and interpersonal skills, initiative, and the ability to multitask. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a bachelor’s degree preferred, and prior customer service experience is advantageous.
Additional qualifications include proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to follow direction, interact professionally with decision makers, and handle confidential information. The position operates in a professional office environment using standard equipment, and may require standing, walking, stair navigation, outdoor travel, and extended periods of sitting or standing.
