Assist in preparing conceptual intersection layouts, schematics, signal timings and engineering reports
Assist with and prepare roadway design plans
Learn project budgets to meet financial metrics
Work on traffic signal design plans for new intersections and signal modifications to facilitate multimodal accommodations
Projects may include traffic operations analysis, traffic signal design, traffic signal timing development, corridor planning studies, transportation safety studies, roadway master planning, long range transportation planning, and transportation modeling (micro and macro)
Assist East Gulf Manager in development of junior engineering staff
Work on temporary traffic control plan/traffic management plan (TMP) and signing, pavement marking plans
Perform routine aspects of assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles
Prepare engineering studies, documents, and reports
Attend project meetings with clients

B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited engineering program
5+ years of experience – Must be in traffic engineering and/or transportation planning with a history of progressive growth in project responsibilities
PTOE, PTP, and/or RSP certifications are a plus
Familiarity with CUBE Voyager and TransCAD is a plus
Potential to learn and participate in business development activities
Familiarity with OpenRoads Designer is desired but not required
