What you would be doing

- Promote sustainable construction practices (e.g., BREEAM)
- Coordinate audits for ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and ISO 14064 compliance
- Support health & wellbeing initiatives for employees and subcontractors
- Monitor and report energy use, emissions, waste, and water across sites
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards including the Modern Slavery Act
- Prepare sustainability reports, presentations, and marketing materials
- Engage suppliers to improve green procurement and validate sustainability measures (e.g., SBTi)
- Contribute to ESG disclosures (e.g., GRESB, CDP) and internal reporting
- Track and report social value, especially for public sector contracts (e.g., UK PPN 06/20)
- Train staff and raise awareness of sustainable practices
- Promote diversity, inclusion, and community engagement
- Support carbon reduction planning aligned with SECR, CSRD, VSSR, and net-zero targets
- Develop ESG policies, dashboards, and reporting frameworks
- Support supplier vetting and sustainable procurement alignment

- Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Professional membership or training (e.g., IEMA, NEBOSH Environmental, ISO 14001 Auditor) desirable
- Proficient in carbon footprint tools, Power BI, and Excel
- Experience in ESG reporting, data collection, and compliance systems
- Familiarity with UK, Irish, and EU ESG regulations (e.g., SECR, CSRD, GPP)
- 2+ years’ experience in construction, M&E, facilities management, or engineering sectors preferred
