Overview

Performs equipment repair, maintenance, welding, documentation and fills in for operators.

Tasks

-Completes all required documentation of service work performed -Ensure that all work activities are conducted in a safe manner -Fills in for the Plant Operator or Loader Operator when regular staff are out -Welds and fabricates parts as needed to facilitate repairs -Follows all company policies and procedures in accordance with guidelines established by Arcosa management -Makes general repairs to equipment, as required -Performs routine maintenance on equipment, as required

What You Bring

-Has working knowledge of various types of welding processes (sheet metal, ironwork etc.) -Has the ability to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing at all levels of the organization -Knows and understand aggregate recycling operations -Has the ability to lift fifty (50) lbs. pounds with regularity and up to seventy-five (75) pounds in some cases -Able to read and understand basic reports, and complete routine mathematics -Has a complete understanding of the workings of equipment used by the company
