Leading provider of housing, care, and support services across the UK.
As a night concierge you will act as the first line of support for residents when other services are unavailable, carrying out health and safety patrols, checking fire doors, and ensuring the building is locked and secure. You will need to think on your feet, investigate suspicious activity, raise alarms and engage emergency services if necessary, and, when time permits, help keep the premises clean using a mop or broom.
You should be flexible to work at short notice, confident working across different services, locations or teams, and have a passion for supporting others, ideally with experience in supported housing or caring environments. Calm, confident decision‑making under pressure is essential.
Practical requirements include being comfortable with lone night work, attending daytime training, and possessing a valid Enhanced DBS check, which Home Group will pay for. The role is based in Eastfield on the outskirts of Peterborough city centre.
Home Group is offering a flexible bank Housing Concierge role on night shifts, allowing you to earn extra cash while maintaining your current commitments. You will support customers and have the freedom to pick the shifts that suit you, with a pay rate of £12.60 per hour.
Home Group values its employees, providing great training, supportive colleagues, and a workplace recognised as one of the UK’s top 10 Great Places to Work. The role includes regular daytime training and team meetings despite the night‑time duties.
Benefits include a living‑wage hourly rate, holiday pay, weekly payment in arrears, a shopping discount scheme with over 800 high‑street offers, access to an excellent learning portal, and eligibility to apply for all internal Home Group job opportunities.
