7+ years’ relevant experience in bridge engineering,
Experience with FDOT policies and procedures highly desired
Must have solid communication skills, written and verbal, and be able to convey information to technical and non-technical individuals.
Bridge Inspection experience
A valid driver’s license.
Bridge Maintenance experience
Professional Engineer (PE) Certification
Must possess the ability to work on multiple unique assignments simultaneously
Skills required: Must possess excellent technical skills in the design of bridges and other transportation-related structures, including experience with AASHTO LRFD
Must possess the ability to work independently with minimal direction and oversight
BS Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
