Mentors plant design and piping personnel by providing on-the-job training for their professional development. Provides input to and participates in special technical educational and training programs as directed
Reviews and approves key design documents, supplier drawings and data, material specifications, drawings, and change orders, for the project to which assigned

Strong technical knowledge of construction piping installation, hydrotesting and pneumatic pipe testing, preferred.
Knowledge of the application of engineering and construction materials related to design responsibilities.
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
Expertise in reading, interpreting and using related documents and drawings prepared by other project groups.
Experience with multi discipline interface management and global 3D model oversight.
Experience in design and drafting, including demonstrated expertise in a lead role or recognized courses in the directing of personnel.
Familiarity with Bechtel Standard Applications (BSAPs), including TEAMWorks, Aconex, Unifier, Agile, Navisworks, and other automation tools used on Bechtel projects is preferred.
Experience in Piping Stress Analysis using CAESAR II and Pipe Support selection.
