The Senior Manager – Control Room (Dry Utilities) leads the 24/7 central control room that monitors and manages medium‑ and low‑voltage dry utility networks. This role ensures reliable service delivery, operational excellence, asset protection, and coordinated incident response across the utility infrastructure. Strong leadership, deep technical knowledge of dry utility systems, and effective multi‑stakeholder communication are essential.
Key responsibilities include overseeing daily control room operations, enforcing standard operating procedures and regulatory compliance, and utilizing SCADA, GIS, OMS and other platforms for real‑time network monitoring. The manager coordinates rapid fault response with field teams, leads incident command during outages or emergencies, and ensures thorough reporting and root‑cause analysis.
The position involves supervising control room staff, developing training programs, conducting competency assessments, and planning succession. It also requires preparing operational reports, KPIs, and compliance documentation while driving improvements in system reliability, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred) and 8–10 years of utility operations experience, with at least 5 years in control‑room management. The candidate must possess strong technical skills in power distribution, SCADA, DCS, OMS, GIS, and a solid understanding of safety standards, alongside proven leadership, crisis management, and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
