The role supports the sales function by tracking bidding projects, analyzing bid documents, preparing accurate cost estimates, and writing job‑specific proposal notes and qualifications. Cost estimates are submitted to sales in a timely manner to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Key responsibilities include communicating material quotes to sales, performing product takeoffs, obtaining vendor bids, and creating material proposals for customers. The incumbent must develop deep knowledge of company products and manufacturing methods to answer technical questions and provide pricing support.
Candidates should have at least one year of experience in construction, precast, or a related field and manufacturing, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, analytic tools, and ERP/inventory systems such as Titan or StackIt. A BS degree in Drafting or Mathematics is required, and the ability to read construction plans and interpret bid documents is essential.
The position demands strong written communication, interpersonal, time‑management, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Additional duties may arise as needed, and the role may involve other projects assigned by management.
