The Road Mechanic position is responsible for preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on the fleet’s aerial work platforms, construction tools, and specialty lines such as generators, pumps, HVAC, and oil‑and‑gas equipment. Technicians perform work in remote and on‑site locations, prioritizing safety and minimizing equipment downtime. The role may involve both indoor and outdoor tasks and requires adherence to strict safety procedures.
The job demands physical activity, including bending, squatting, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working in varying weather conditions. Compensation ranges from $24.05 to $33.06 per hour, with the final rate depending on location, experience, and education.
