Description

The position requires a high level of integrity to protect the Clayton brand, continuous learning of finance and product knowledge, and proactive customer follow‑up using the CRM system. You will also support merchandising, prospecting, product demonstrations, appointment setting, and participate in training and team activities.

• Protect Clayton Homes branding and assets with integrity throughout the sales process.
• Develop expertise in finance, mortgage concepts, product knowledge, sales acumen, presentation skills, and the local market.
• Maintain customer files and provide timely follow‑up via the company CRM system.
• Assist manager with inventory selection, model decoration, and home appearance merchandising.
• Create and execute a strategic sales and marketing plan to increase home‑center traffic through personal prospecting.
• Present display homes, demonstrate features and benefits, and add value for potential buyers.
• Set home‑center appointments by converting ad calls and web leads using the prospect database.
• Participate in all sales meetings, training opportunities, and company‑sponsored functions.
• Collaborate with team members, assisting with miscellaneous duties as needed.

Requirements

Candidates should have at least six months of relationship‑driven B2C sales experience, a general understanding of retail, and the ability to obtain required manufactured‑home sales licensing. Strong verbal communication, teamwork, organization, time‑management, professional demeanor, and flexibility to work Saturdays and walk the lot in all seasons are essential.
