  • Collaboration & Training: Work closely with internal departments to understand IT needs and deliver solutions. Conduct regular training and awareness programs to improve digital literacy and cybersecurity posture across the organization.

  • IT Strategy & Roadmap: Lead the formulation and execution of a comprehensive IT Roadmap that aligns technology strategy with the broader organisational goals. This includes planning and overseeing the digital transformation journey, automation efforts, and the strategic migration of infrastructure to either cloud or optimised in-house servers, The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the roadmap is not only well-defined and costed, but also receives leadership approval within designated planning cycles, with clearly articulated milestones to guide rollout and progress tracking. Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and capable of supporting evolving business needs., new geographies, and digital transformation initiatives. A major responsibility of this role includes leading the upgrade and modernisation of core IT systems. This entails end-to-end execution of projects such as enterprise-wide email systems, ERP platforms, cloud storage environments, and associated tools that ensure business continuity and scale. The incumbent will supervise planning, procurement, migration, and post-deployment phases while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Security & Compliance: Enforce information security protocols to safeguard sensitive client and organizational data. Ensure IT practices comply with internal controls and regulatory standards, including those required by donor agencies and government partners.
  • Vendor & Asset Management: Oversee vendor relationships, manage IT service contracts, and ensure cost-effective procurement and lifecycle management of hardware, software, and licenses.
  • In terms of risk and governance, the incumbent will ensure enterprise-wide compliance with information security frameworks and policies. This includes executing internal audits, ensuring endpoint security, and coordinating disaster recovery (DR) planning and drills to secure data and systems against cyber threats and breaches.
  • People Leadership and Capability: Inspire, coach, and upskill distributed IT team; cultivate a culture of service excellence and innovation. The IT Lead Manager will serve as the central point of accountability for the organization's technology operations. In this role, the individual will oversee and manage a dedicated team responsible for all core operational aspects of IT, ensuring seamless delivery of services across infrastructure, applications, security, and end-user support.
  • Service Continuity & Business Support: Ensure uninterrupted availability of core IT services to support ongoing consulting assignments, remote collaboration, and client engagements. Implement robust backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
  • IT Operations Management: Manage daily IT operations including systems administration, end-user support, hardware/network maintenance, and incident resolution across multiple office locations and remote project teams.

  • Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or related credentials.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven ability to manage distributed IT infrastructure and support teams across multiple locations.
  • Demonstrated success in cloud-migration, ERP or collaboration-platform rollouts.
