As a Lineworker, you'll ensure our community has a safe and reliable electricity supply by constructing and maintaining transmission and distribution networks. You'll respond quickly to faults to minimise disruptions, deliver high-quality work, and adapt to evolving industry standards. Working in various conditions, you'll plan and execute tasks safely and efficiently while maintaining positive customer interactions.

Maintaining and enhancing core Line skills with changing industry standards and business requirements.
Participating in pre-job planning to identify risks, hazards and task variables and control measures to ensure safe, reliable and affordable job completion.
Attending and rectifying faults in a timely manner will ensure minimal loss of supply and less disruption to the customer.
Working in environmental elements to complete jobs subject to adequate safety and control measures being implemented.
Complete allocated construction and maintenance work to Western Power standards ensuring consistent quality across the network.

Certificate III in ESI - Power System Distribution Overhead or equivalent or
