The Service Coordinator (Project Engineer) serves as the behind‑the‑scenes expert who ensures custom closet projects are engineered, prepared, and ready for flawless installation while collaborating with design, manufacturing, and field teams.
- Use Cabinet Vision software to prepare and process custom closet designs
- Export and convert design files, confirm wall dimensions, and prep jobs for production
- Review approved jobs for buildability and installation requirements
- Coordinate special order items and ensure timely production preparation
- Support field teams with real-time problem‑solving during installations
- Occasionally visit job sites to take measurements or verify specifications

Successful candidates have at least one year of CAD experience, are detail‑oriented, can thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and possess strong communication and collaboration skills. The role is ideal for individuals with hands‑on installation experience in closets or custom cabinetry, residential remodeling, or technical design, and who are tech‑savvy and detail‑oriented.
- 1+ year of CAD experience
- Familiarity with Cabinet Vision (preferred) or AutoCAD (a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused in a fast‑paced environment
- Comfort with software tools and technical documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal oversight
- Background in closet installation or custom cabinetry
- Experience in residential remodeling or home improvement
- CAD drafting or technical design expertise
- Experience with Closet Factory or similar companies (a plus)
