This role will be responsible for managing the complete payroll cycle using Spine Payroll and supporting day-to-day HR operations. The role involves maintaining accurate employee data, ensuring statutory compliance, and providing assistance across HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, attendance management, documentation, and employee relations.
- Prepare HR and payroll reports for management review.
- Manage leave applications, approvals, and balance updates in Spine.
- Support HR audits and ensure proper record-keeping.
- Coordinate with departments to resolve attendance discrepancies.
- Monitor daily attendance, shift rosters, late marks, absenteeism.
- Maintain monthly dashboards (attendance, headcount, salary variance, etc.).
- Prepare and file all statutory returns and challans on time.
- Maintain statutory registers and documentation for audits.
- Process monthly payroll accurately using Spine HRMS/Spine Payroll.
- Validate attendance, leaves, overtime, and shift records before payroll processing.
- Maintain employee master data, salary structures, and statutory details in Spine.
- Manage Full & Final settlements, arrears, and reimbursements.
- Assist in joining formalities and orientation of new employees.
- Manage onboarding, induction, and employee documentation.
- Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
- Issue HR letters like appointment, confirmations, warnings, increment letters, etc.
- Coordinate recruitment activities: job posting, screening, scheduling interviews.
- Support grievance handling and escalate issues when required.
- Assist in employee engagement activities and HR initiatives.
- Handle employee queries related to payroll, leaves, HR policies, etc.
- Actively take care of talent acquisition
- Prepare salary sheets, payslips, and payroll MIS reports.
- Maintain digital and physical HR records and personnel files.
- Ensure accurate deductions of PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, and other statutory components.
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, and other statutory acts.

You are a detail-oriented and reliable HR professional who enjoys working with numbers, employee data, and payroll systems. You have a flair for talent acquisition. You have hands-on experience with Spine Payroll and understand the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance. You are proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple HR tasks while maintaining a positive and supportive approach with employees.
The candidate must have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in Spine Payroll, strong knowledge of payroll compliance, and the ability to work independently with accuracy and confidentiality.

Technical Skills

- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Spine Payroll software (mandatory).
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- Understanding of HRMS systems, attendance machines, and HR documentation.
- MBA/PGDM in HR preferred (not mandatory).
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Experience in statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, LWF, Gratuity) is an added advantage.
- Ability to handle employee queries professionally and resolve issues.
- Understanding of HR policies, onboarding, recruitment, and employee lifecycle management.
- Good knowledge of payroll processes, salary structure, and statutory deductions.
- Strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS reporting).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Spine HRMS / Spine Payroll.
- 2–4 years of overall experience in HR, payroll, or HR operations (preferred).
