The role focuses on sensor and swath calibration, alignment adjustments, and quality assurance of airborne, mobile, terrestrial, and UAV LiDAR datasets. Candidates are expected to understand sources of error in LiDAR data, process raw lidar formats, and perform both relative and absolute adjustments. The analyst will also create mapping products, manage databases, and develop scripts or macros across multiple GIS/LiDAR platforms.
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field and have at least five years of experience in GIS/Remote Sensing. Required expertise includes LiDAR data extraction, elevation model creation, and proficiency with ESRI software, Terrascan, and MS Office. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to solve problems and produce technical reports are also essential.
