Buyer - Supply Chain Management

Description

• Purchase materials according to technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms.
• Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
• Identify and develop new suppliers in collaboration with the relevant category team.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships to support continuous improvement.
• Partner with suppliers to optimize costs and enhance value.
• Continuously update the approved vendor list and add new vendors to balance the value chain and reduce costs.
• Manage total cost of ownership, including cost breakdowns and control measures.
• Qualify and audit suppliers to maintain quality and compliance.
• Provide sales support for new requirements on specific ETO projects.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• Possess 6–8 years of relevant experience, preferably with drive panels, low‑voltage, and medium‑voltage systems.
• Demonstrate strong experience in supplier development and supply chain management activities.
• Experience with supplier sustainability programs is preferred.
• Proficiency in sourcing low‑voltage drive components.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP and digital procurement tools.
