Provides visible Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) leadership and direction. Provides advice, guidance and assurance to the senior leadership team. Supports the delivery of the business strategy and objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to deliver cost‑effective and efficient performance.
- Support implementation of health, safety and wellbeing (HSW) policies, procedures, guidance notes and standards.
- Conduct audits and inspections, and assist with resolution of non‑conformities from third‑party audits.
- Participate in development of new standards and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Analyze audit results, corrective actions and KPIs, identifying gaps for continuous improvement.
- Ensure incident investigations are completed on time and lessons are shared.
- Manage and provide leadership to a team of managers and professionals, establishing principles, structures, tools/capabilities and responsibilities to deliver area plans and excellence.
- Provide performance management, technical development and coaching.
- Work collaboratively toward net‑zero carbon transition, proactively identifying and managing associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.
