Write GMOP / DMOP and process all associated paperwork within an EJP that is required for each job
Work effectively with engineers, technicians, and customers
Install relay racking, cable racking, fiber ducting, auxiliary framing and other superstructure elements
Perform lacing, stitching, and sewing
When appropriate, wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in compliance with Company standards and governmental regulations.
Read and interpret floor plans, rack drawings, and customer-provided work orders
Verify network and timing connectivity and continuity of various fiber and cable connections
Install DC power rectification, batteries, fuse panels and BDFB/BDCBB
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot telecommunication equipment and systems
Provide central office installation services and adhere to the quality standards required for Telcordia GR-1275, Lumen 77350 / 77385, ATT TP-76300 / TP-76400 and/or Verizon IP72202 ISS 5-1 Core Standards
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all equipment, configurations, changes and maintenance activities
Install and sew copper and fiber cables utilizing an array of connector types (RJ45 / wire wrapping, BNC, LC/SC, etc.)

This position may require working outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions and terrain; may work for long periods in hot, cold, wet, windy, or icy conditions.
Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
Must be able to traverse all areas of the Jobsite. This may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, kneeling, or stretching.
Must have knowledge of the Central Office / MSO / Data Center standards.
Extensive understanding of hand tools, test equipment, and ability to use a computer to interface with customer products.
Must be able to ride in a vehicle for extended periods of time to travel to and from job sites.
Have the ability and mentality to work outdoors, in a physically demanding work environment and all-weather conditions, lifting or moving up to 50lbs., and hiking over various terrain.
Must have a working knowledge of installing ironwork, earthquake bracing, cable racking and fiber ducting.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office computer applications: Email, Excel, Word, OneDrive.
Communicate effectively, including proficiency in written and verbal communications, with strong listening skills.
Possess a current and valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no DUI / DWIs within the past 5 years.
Ability to clearly distinguish colors, shades, and brightness when working with multi-colored cablings such as twisted pair copper and fiber optic cable.
Willing to travel locally, statewide, or regionally as required.
Ability to work in different temperatures and through changing weather conditions.
Exposure to dust, odors, gases, vapors, varying noise levels, and wet or slick surfaces may be possible.
Must pass the pre-employment screening process which includes a background check, drug test and motor vehicle records pull.
The Level 4 Telecommunication Technician position requires visiting Alamon customer site facilities nationwide, travel is required.
Must be able to work in enterprise, educational, warehouse, and manufacturing settings.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. at a time.
Must have DC Power (-48VDC) knowledge and be able to install and perform hot cuts as needed.
Be available to work nights and weekends as required by project demands.
This position requires extensive travel.
Ability to map out and run new fibers for integration, fiber rolls, and hot cuts.
Possess excellent time-management skills and multitasking abilities.
Highschool Diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to work at heights, handle ladders, along with pushing and pulling equipment.
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and use practical judgment while working through job assignments.
Possess the skills and ability to plan and coordinate high-risk activity including identifying equipment, cards, fiber cables, and circuit IDs.
