The Mechanical Engineering Co‑op applies engineering fundamentals and project‑related services to support design assignments, providing a developmental opportunity to translate theoretical knowledge into practical application.

Work with assigned design engineers and drafters to execute design drawings and specifications, ensuring code and statute compliance.
Use computer‑aided design technologies to develop sketches, drawings, and construction documents.
Archive and retrieve data from the electronic database to support work.
Research equipment selection from catalogs under the direction of the Project Designer/Engineer.
Maintain a neat, organized work area for efficient access to project information.
Keep the Project Designer/Engineer informed of workload and request work as needed.
