Perform preliminary and detailed analysis and design for tunnels, shafts, caverns and facilities for hydroelectric and other related projects.
Work with technical teams, perform and deliver technical work, make technical presentations, plan technical portions of projects, develop technical portions of proposals, and provide technical review of work products.
Perform analyses using numerical modeling, empirical and limit equilibrium methods.
Utilize technologies in development of threedimensional models.
Promote collaboration and teamwork across business lines and geographies.
Engage in the development of a design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats.
Conduct quality assurance and quality control on own projects and projects of peers.
Assist with the development of proposals.

510 years’ experience in tunnel engineering
Travel may be 10% to 25% of the time.
Advanced training in use of numerical modeling techniques, geologic modeling tools, rock mechanics, and associated software to complete engineering analyses as well as techniques using empirical methods and hand calculations.
Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
Valid driver’s license with REAL ID and good driving record required
