- Detail oriented with the ability to manage changing priorities. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Three to seven years of previous related experience in a similar role is preferred. Strong experience with structural design software (ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills in both French & English, spoken and written.
- Membre de l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) et/ou Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO), ou admissible à l’inscription.
- Participer activement à la conception et à la préparation des plans et devis (acier, béton, bois, maçonnerie, etc.).
- Trois à sept ans d’expérience pertinente dans un rôle similaire, de préférence. Solide expérience avec les logiciels de conception structurale (ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, etc.).
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) and/or, with Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO), or eligible to be registered.
- Un environnement stimulant où l’équilibre travail-vie personnelle est important.
- Baccalauréat en génie civil. Une maîtrise en génie des structures est un atout.
- Veiller à ce que les travaux d’ingénierie soient réalisés selon les normes de qualité de l’industrie et en conformité avec le Code national du bâtiment (CNB), Code de Construction et Code de sécurité du Québec, et le Code du bâtiment de l’Ontario.
- Excellente maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, à l’oral comme à l’écrit.
- Souci du détail et capacité à gérer les priorités changeantes. Excellentes compétences organisationnelles, en communication et en résolution de problèmes.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Master's Degree in Structural Engineering is an asset.
