The primary purpose of this role is to provide functional application support to the finance community for Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM applications, acting as both system administrator and configurator. The applications in scope include Actuals – GL, PPM, EDMCS, EPCM, FCCS, ARCS, as well as planning tools such as EPBCS, Projects/Financials/Workforce, Narrative Reporting, and PPM Program & Extension.
- Provide application support for monthly book close or forecast/budget processes.
- Perform configuration management, test and implement system fixes, updates and enhancements with Exelon IT, Corporate Accounting, and the Finance Community.
- Coordinate changes that impact other financial systems.
- Maintain documentation for Sarbanes‑Oxley, management controls, and audit requests.
- Facilitate process improvement through technology.
- Respond to help desk tickets, data requests, and conduct special projects.
- Provide functional training support to Exelon finance communities.

The position requires knowledge of accounting or consolidation financial planning systems, strong impact‑analysis capabilities for system change requests, and the ability to diagnose issues promptly. It involves direct interaction with accounting/finance and IT personnel, necessitating strong communication skills and a customer‑service orientation, as we continue migrating to Oracle Cloud Software.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or computer science.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting or accounting‑systems positions.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and teams concurrently.
- Ability to perform under pressure.
- Solid analytical capabilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and team‑working capabilities.
- Strong aptitude for accounting systems and technology.
- MBA in Finance, Accounting, or Systems (preferred).
- CPA or other financial certification (preferred).
- Public accounting experience (preferred).
- Utility industry experience (preferred).
- Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM experience (preferred).
