Based in Richardson, Texas, this on‑site role focuses on the overall technical architecture and design of SAP S/4 HANA Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and its integration with ERP, TMS, and other systems. The incumbent will lead software delivery, continuously improve practices, document major processes, and ensure solutions align with long‑term IT strategy while adapting to a fast‑changing environment.
- Design and maintain the technical architecture for SAP S/4 HANA EWM and its integration with ERP, TMS, and other software.
- Lead software delivery, enforce continuous improvement practices, and document key processes and milestones.
- Develop enterprise architecture strategies, guiding principles, policies, and standards.
- Define system scope and objectives based on user needs and industry requirements.
- Analyze business and user requirements throughout the full development lifecycle.
- Configure, modify, and update complex ERP routines and SAP EWM settings.
- Educate stakeholders on workflow, business processes, and reporting metrics enabled by ERP modules.
- Define, test, train, implement, and support functional areas within the EWM system.
- Monitor development teams for adherence to software development methods and processes.
- Manage project plans, scope, risk, resources, and act as team leader for project teams.
- Travel periodically to distribution centers and plants to collaborate with on‑site teams.
- Maintain relationships with internal and external partners to ensure alignment with IT strategy.

Candidates must hold a 4‑year degree in computer science, engineering, or a related STEM field (or have equivalent experience) and bring at least five years of hands‑on SAP EWM configuration, deployment, and management, including one end‑to‑end SAP S/4 HANA EWM implementation. Strong functional knowledge of warehouse processes, ABAP development, and experience with tools such as Azure DevOps and Agile methodologies are required, along with excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Possess a 4‑year degree in computer science, engineering, or related STEM field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years configuring, deploying, and managing SAP EWM solutions, including at least one end‑to‑end S/4 HANA EWM implementation.
- Deep knowledge of SAP EWM master data integrations, inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes.
- Hands‑on experience with complex storage types, handling unit management, palletization, wave management, and RF mobile data entry.
- Proficiency in ABAP development, debugging, BADI, functional modules, and ALV reports.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, MS Project, and Agile methodology.
- Strong communication, influencing, and consulting skills across all organizational levels.
- Ability to solve highly complex problems, adapt to changing timelines, and manage ambiguity.
- Preferred experience in project management, TMS knowledge, and matrix organization environments.
Benefits
