In this role you will lead a regional planning team, recruiting planners, senior planners and planning managers, and growing the team’s capabilities. You will develop, maintain and manage robust baselines aligned with contractual and performance metrics, and lead planning across complex, multidisciplinary projects. Responsibilities include facilitating workshops, conducting performance reviews, ensuring NEC contract compliance, and delivering advanced reporting such as Earned Value Management. You will also integrate schedule, cost and risk data, perform critical‑path and scenario planning, and conduct delay analysis to assure contractor schedule integrity.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Project Management, Engineering or Construction Management and has demonstrated success as a planning leader in sectors such as transport, energy, defence, water or rail. Strong people‑management capabilities, mentorship experience, and in‑depth knowledge of NEC contracts are essential. Outstanding interpersonal and stakeholder‑engagement skills, proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project, and a collaborative, strategic mindset are also required.
The role may require UK security clearance, subject to residency requirements, and will be discussed during the interview process.
