Intern Generator Interconnection

Description

The Generator Interconnection Intern will participate with all facets of NorthWestern Energy's Net Metering and Generator Interconnection processes, while getting the opportunity to participate in implementation process of new software.

• Participate in implementation process of a new interconnection software
• Perform other Generator Interconnection and Transmission Services tasks as needed
• Process net metering applications with our generator interconnection team
• Support and assist with moving project files to the records system in compliance with records retention policies
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline interconnection workflow and improve efficiency
• Ensure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives
• Participate in organization work meetings
• Assist with Transmission Service contract management

• Get Into Energy - Energy Industry Fundamental 2.0 certification is a plus (click here to certify at no cost)
• Must Provide GPA in Resume upon application
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business or other relevant degree paths
• Must be able to work closely with other individuals and cooperate with other departments
• Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office excel, word, and access data base
• Must be in good academic standing
• All NorthWestern Energy employees are required to adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics
• Student must have completed Freshman level or higher by stated date

Pay range: $20.00 - $21.00/hour (first year interns $20.00/hour, returning interns $21.00/hour)
