  • Coordinates & schedules routine safety inspections with Safety Manager and follows up as needed on any resulting safety items requiring action.
  • Performs a daily tracking of the project schedule and reports on discrepancies to the fabrication manager and production manager.
  • Creates the list of deliverables within the Inventory Management software system and provide tags to the respective foremen.
  • Reviews the scope to be performed to ensure an understanding of the scope, the budget, and the timeline requested for completion.
  • Effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders, as required.
  • Provides input to a recovery plan for project schedule discrepancies to the fabrication manager and production manager
  • Performs routine checks of items to ensure they are documented as per the Specifications and saves all necessary documents within the Work Order folders as needed.
  • Contributes to cost projections during production reviews for the scope of work.
  • Determines trackable production units for the specific scope of work
  • Reviews work order and shop drawings to ensure the necessary information is provided for fabrication.
  • Identifies issues in defined scopes of work.

  • Strong planning, organization, and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize own work.
  • Proven critical thinking skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of fabrication equipment and techniques, methods, and building materials.
  • Strong skills using Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable systems
  • Ability to understand and apply basic construction principles to problem solve
  • Detailed knowledge of fabrication drawings and specifications, project health, safety and environment (HSE), quality, and required standards per discipline.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment.
