Uphold a strong focus on safety and promoting safety culture
Assist and engage in maintaining and/or repairing of equipment and systems.
Provide maintenance assistance for other facility Tradespeople as required.
Support and uphold Harmattan Gas Plant policies, standards, procedures, processes and teamwork.
Execute routine procedures and duties in operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment as per facility operating and maintenance procedures.
Utilize the Maximo Maintenance software system to its full capabilities.
Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure effective job planning.
Assess and comprehend facility information (i.e., equipment data sheets, data books, P&IDs, and PFDs).

Experience and knowledge of natural gas engines (Waukesha and Caterpillar) reciprocating compressors (Ariel and Dresser-Rand) centrifugal compressors (Elliot, Solar EMD and York), including compressor inspections and corrective maintenance, engine tuning, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
2 to 3 years of industry experience required.
H2S Alive & First Aid certifications required.
Experience and knowledge of maintenance and repairs of various pump makes and models, including pump overhauls and rebuilds, mechanical seal change outs, alignments, and pump curve and efficiencies
Continued exposure to business skills and continuous improvement techniques to enhance the business.
Working knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite & Maximo) is considered an asset.
Experience and knowledge in maintenance and repairs of steam turbines (Westinghouse, Dresser-Rand and Terry), including overhauls and inspections, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical governor systems.
Local residence (reasonable response time for callouts or emergencies) required.
Plant Maintenance - 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyperson required, preferably Millwright.
