Key responsibilities include advising business leaders, HR partners, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards colleagues on compensation strategies and collaborating with Corporate HR on operational and strategic hiring, promotion, and retention decisions. The specialist will execute annual Total Rewards processes such as budgeting, compensation reviews, and short‑term incentive programs, while using internal tools and external benchmarks to level roles. Additionally, they will design and implement compensation programs, research market data and industry trends, ensure legal compliance, track compensation spend, and create Standard Operating Procedures. Partnership with the benefits team and support for the US region are also part of the role.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, or a high school diploma/GED with at least five years of direct compensation and benefits experience. They need three or more years of operational experience in HR, Compensation, or Finance, with functional knowledge of compensation concepts, systems, and administration. A proven ability to provide guidance and counsel across various organizational levels is essential.
Desired characteristics include three-plus years of compensation analysis or consultation experience and prior involvement in salary surveys, benchmarking, or complex analytical projects. Strong influencing skills within a matrix environment, advanced Excel proficiency, and meticulous organizational and analytical abilities are required. Candidates should demonstrate excellent interpersonal, consulting, written, and verbal communication skills, experience leveling roles using WTW methodology, and a strong sense of accountability. Completion of the HR Leadership Program (HRLP) is preferred.
