The Role

Overview

Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies, coach teams, and remove impediments across multiple projects.

Tasks

-Work with stakeholders to remove blocking issues -Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised and discussed towards a solution openly -Track and report key Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to stakeholders. -Facilitate getting the work done without dictating and assigning. -Ensure team adherence to Agile values and principles. -Remove obstacles that hinder the team’s progress and escalate issues when necessary. -Coach team members on Agile principles and practices to ensure continuous improvement. -Resolve team conflicts -Motivate the teams to be self-organizing -Coordinate with other Scrum masters and teams to manage dependencies and align delivery goals. -Schedule and hold demos when needed -Promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability. -Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. -Support the Product Owner in managing the product backlog and ensuring clarity of user stories.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience. -Firm grasp of Agile development methodologies with the ability to tailor them to the needs of the organization -Exposure to scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS). -Experience with issue tracking systems, preferably Jira. -Ability to act independently with limited supervision. -Having Scrum Master certification. -Strong organizational skills -Total 6+ years of experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience running more than one team as a scrum master, as your primary function. -Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. -Relevant experience of effectively supporting project teams -Ability to write accurate and concise communications -Ability to work independently in most circumstances and use initiative to propose and implement changes to work practices
