Maintaining and monitoring a detailed tax compliance calendar across jurisdictions to ensure timely and accurate filings.
Supporting audits by maintaining complete documentation and responding to inquiries from state and local tax authorities.

Researching, identifying, and pursuing tax incentives and exemptions, including:
Developing and documenting internal controls and tax accounting policies, ensuring compliance with GAAP and ASC 740 where applicable.

Assisting in structuring and documenting intercompany transactions to ensure proper tax treatment.

3 to 5 years of experience managing multi-entity tax reporting and multi-state tax filings, ideally in renewable energy, construction, or manufacturing industries.
Hands-on experience with:

Experience with construction-specific tax matters, including:
Understanding of renewable energy financing structures, such as tax equity, PPAs, and lease-back arrangements
Advanced Excel, data analysis, and reporting skills.
ERP systems (i.e., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics)
Familiarity with federal energy incentives (ITC/PTC) and state-level manufacturing/construction abatements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships and explain complex tax issues clearly.
