This position will be responsible for leading the environmental business line for our Draper office working directly with area leadership to set business projections, define growth goals, and implement strategies to achieve them.
- Supervise and mentor a diverse team of environmental scientists and engineers.
- Prepare proposals and lead efforts to win new work in the local market.
- Own the overall strategy and performance of the Environmental business line in Draper.
- Monitor key performance indicators and adjust strategies to ensure financial and operational objectives are met.
- Oversee and/or participate in the preparation of various state and federal environmental documents.
- Partner with leadership to develop annual business projections, revenue targets, and growth goals.
- Oversee and/or participate in field activities including noise collection, wetland delineation, and other field surveys.
- Maintain a strong focus on health and safety in all project work.
- Manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget goals are met.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent to support continued growth.
- Build and strengthen relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Foster a collaborative, positive, and high-performance culture.
- Lead and review technical work, including site assessments, compliance studies, feasibility analyses, remedial design, and system operations.
- Expand our service offerings and market presence in Utah and beyond.

- Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship skills.
- This hybrid job operates between an office environment and a field environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones and copy machines. May require occasional exposure to work environments that may include inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazard, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience leading technical teams.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, geology, environmental Science, or a related field (master’s preferred).
- Understanding of the transportation marketplace.
- 8+ years of relevant environmental consulting experience, including project and program management.
