The Engineer will handle investigation of field conflicts, respond to RFIs, revise traffic control plans, review and develop change orders and construction schedule submittals, and coordinate with clients, while preparing progress and final estimates, checking calculations, and ensuring contractor compliance with plans and specifications.
Candidates must hold a civil engineering bachelor’s degree, a PE license, and at least ten years of major road or bridge construction inspection experience, including RFI and change‑order review, possess a valid driver’s license, meet physical job requirements, and be able to obtain necessary certifications.
Preferred qualifications include additional field engineering experience, familiarity with FDOT projects, a proactive attitude, ability to work independently, and proficiency with MicroStation, Bluebeam, and P6 scheduling software.
