

Develops small modular nuclear reactors for clean, safe, and efficient energy production.
The role is responsible for managing the test program that advances the microreactor technology toward commercialization. Responsibilities include overseeing testing contracts, organizing test data, identifying quality and reliability parameters, supporting the supply chain, collaborating with engineering to design test rigs, establishing testing schedules with the project manager, and ensuring system engineering requirements are met.
Success in this position requires strong business acumen, decisive problem‑solving, clear oral and written communication, effective planning and organization, integrity, adaptability, dependability, and team‑building skills. The individual must also model a safety‑first culture and adhere to quality‑assurance regulations such as 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA‑1.
Candidates must hold a B.S. in Engineering or Physics (advanced degree preferred) and have at least 10 years of full‑time engineering experience, including a minimum of two years in R&D testing or equipment reliability testing. Eligibility to work under DOE 10 CFR Part 810, the ability to meet physical demands, and willingness to travel up to 30 % domestically are required.
