Lead by example and monitor the team, supervision and operating personnel – ensuring adherence to competency, HSE and quality plans.

Ensure appropriate indicators are in place to assist in optimising asset performance.

Focal point for operations and technical support to the EPS West asset operations teams.
Provide conflict resolution between departments and business areas within the best interest of Petrofac promoting productivity and efficiency.
The Operations Director will be responsible for the implementation of business growth strategy and execution of projects. They will be accountable for decision making on expenditure on operational activities and in support of business strategy.
Create a team-based approach where everyone recognises Petrofac values and conducts the business activities within the Golden Rules of Safety.
Regularly review the status of operations key performance indicators with the individual operations management project teams.
Undertake frequent site visits to meet and discuss any matters arising with Petrofac personnel and client representatives.
Work closely with clients and manage the appointed contracts / accounts to exceed operational and business objectives.
Continuously research, identify and communicate cost saving initiatives within the business.
Monitor budgets of each business area.
Establish the Petrofac operational philosophy and strategy ensuring this is aligned with industry changes.
Work with team and business unit leaders and provide guidance and direction for employees.
Ensure team alignment to deliver contract KPI’s and preserve maximum profit contribution to Petrofac.

Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline, as well as relevant operations, maintenance and/or integrity experience.
Experience in carrying out operations readiness and due diligence projects, or decommissioning scopes would also be beneficial.
A thorough understanding of the operations, engineering, safety, people and commercial aspects of business is key to succeeding in this position.
Exposure to managing teams and budgets is essential.
