Managing cost and schedule for the assigned activities
Supervision / Guidance to the Mechanical team, ensuring quality for the deliverables /work done.
Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations for turbine selection and integration.
Assist project/proposal activities
Review of PFDs, PIDs, MSDs, datasheets, project specifications, material and service requisitions, technical bid evaluations, system descriptions and collect necessary input required for simulation
Design and optimize power plant systems such as GTG, STG and balance of plant.
Review, Supervise/Guidance of deliverables by the Mechanical team
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Develop standard documentation for use on projects
Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and operational phases.
Preparation of material requisition, technical bid evaluation and vendor design review and approval.
Handling team issues. Performance evaluation and development of the team members
Ensuring quality for the deliverables / work done by the team.
Develop and review technical specifications, design documents, and engineering drawings.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
Interact with Global offices, execute work on workshare mode.
Coordinate technical issues with other departments on projects
Develop / assist in documentation for progress reporting, tracking mechanism for team deliverables

The Mechanical Engineer will work as part of Global Bechtel team and should have basic flair for working with personnel of different nationalities. Should have a good proficiency for spoken and written English language.
Conversant in development, review of System engineering, P&ID development, Design Criteria, Design calculations (example, flow and pressure-drop calculations), system sizing calculations for steam and water cycle, operation and control philosophy.
Knowledge of Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) and Steam Turbine Generator (STG), Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG), Air Cooled Condensers (ACC), Boiler Feed Pump (BFP), Condensate Transfer Pump (CTP) etc.
Proficiency in software application such as GateCycle™, GT PRO and ST PRO for gas turbine combined cycle and cogeneration plant design and optimization
Implement/Capture Lesson Learnt
Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university and 18+ years of relevant work experience
