The Radio Technician supports Project Managers and Design Estimators with estimating, pre‑work scoping, and development and review of work methodologies, including job handover, close‑out, pre‑planning, briefs, and risk assessments. Site visits are undertaken to monitor progress, verify compliance with design and scope, and assess quality and completeness of works, while ensuring accurate and timely field documentation, reports, GIS data, asset records, as‑built information, and required testing and commissioning. The role also participates in job reviews, continuous improvement initiatives, and supports switching or outage activities, consistently promoting HSQE standards in line with legislative and organisational requirements.
We are seeking an experienced Radio Technician to support the delivery, maintenance, and optimisation of critical radio and communications systems within the electricity distribution environment. The role works closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and field teams to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable communications infrastructure that supports network operations.
