The Evidence Technician will support the Forensics Department by managing the receipt, handling, storage, and disposition of evidence and property in line with established policies. Responsibilities include maintaining chain‑of‑custody documentation, photographing evidence, and coordinating transportation to testing laboratories while keeping the work environment clean, secure, and efficient.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational and prioritization skills, a high level of integrity, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly. The role also requires on‑call availability for after‑hours response, adherence to safety regulations, and effective communication with staff during inspections, audits, and investigations.
