Description

Maintains records and plans for preventive maintenance shutdown activities.
Maintains records for machine data.
Prepares, submits and tracks tool crib/maintenance requisitions and ensures proper receiving of parts into Tool Crib by working with receiving suppliers for accurate description of parts
Verifies and maintains accuracy of perpetual inventory records and Tool Crib inventory transactions.
Prepare reports and make recommendations on reducing the total cost of maintenance.
Generation of new part numbers for the Tool Crib
Assures accuracy spare parts inventory records.
Negotiate with suppliers regarding the price and delivery of Repair & Maintenance Items.
Assists in technical training of maintenance staff.
Identify and drive disposition of obsolete and slow-moving inventory.
Moving machinery or moving objects on the production floor.
Will be responsible for administration of CMMS System & assist in setup/use of system at future date.
Conducts weekly/monthly cycle counts
Actively participates during preventive maintenance shutdowns in areas where trained.
Maintains responsibility for inventory tracking
Maintains tool crib area in an organized, orderly fashion
Requirements

M ust be able to lift to 35 pounds without assistance.
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
Must be qualified to operate powered industrial trucks and pass Forklift License Program.
Must be able to climb, bend, stoop and crawl.
Required to frequently ascend and descend up to three flights of stairs over extremely fast-moving machinery.
Required to safely access fast moving machinery which includes rolls with inward nip points.
Possible exposure to noise levels over 90 decibels for 8 hours at certain locations.
Required to be in tight spaces on occasion and to heights daily.
Exposure to and use of sharp implements at times.
Must have 20/20 vision corrected in both eyes, to discern various color graphics and color matches.
Exposure to hot and/or abrasive surfaces.
Exposure to chemicals which may cause eye or skin irritation and/or bums, and irritation to respiratory system.
Exposure to outside elements on occasion.
Exposure to static electricity on occasion.
At least 2 years’ manufacturing experience.
