Construction Technician - Manhole Inspection Travel Team

Description

• Identify and input data of all cable size of services and mains
• Develop an intimate knowledge of the client’s business and establishing and maintaining quality relationships with key contacts in the client’s organization
• Take pictures of all manholes, cables, and conduit
• Identify and assist with resolving issues and challenges that may arise
• Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Hand draw surveys of all cables and equipment in manholes
• Perform Quality Control checks on work being performed
• Trace secondary mains from service manhole to transformer
• Identify house services and manholes needed for survey from plat map
• Maintain records related to project activities, costs, and project performance
• Hand draw maps of secondary mains feeding all services
• Assist with project planning, to include preparing project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring necessary permits are obtained
• Provide input to Construction Supervisors, Project Managers, and Sr. Project Managers concerning potential process and design improvements related to Field Services

Requirements

• Confined space and OSHA 10 certified preferred
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a site construction crew on industrial construction projects.
• Sound knowledge of current OSHA regulations and other safety guidelines.
