- Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
- Work with the project team to create all design documents and drawings, including one and three-line diagrams, protection and control schematics, communications diagrams, wiring diagrams, substation layout plans, section and detail drawings.
- Apply engineering application software to complete engineering tasks such as ground grid design, equipment sizing, relay coordination, and electrical studies.
- Communicate and coordinate project activities with project lead, customer representatives, and other stakeholders.
- Specification development for the procurement, installation, and testing of substation equipment.

- Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in Electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- At least 2 years of experience performing engineering-related duties preferred.
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
- Knowledge of engineering standards, including NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE and ANSI.
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Legally able to work in the United States for any length of time.
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English language.
