The inspector will assess site conditions before construction, verify that the site matches the design, protect existing structures and utilities, and review delivered materials for conformance and proper storage. They will also inspect temporary and permanent works, prepare daily logs and reports, monitor safety practices, and assist with punch lists, testing, commissioning, and handover. Additionally, they will evaluate RFIs and variance requests, providing recommendations to the Resident Engineer.
AECOM is seeking an experienced Materials Inspector for major roads, infrastructure, and bridge projects in Dubai. The role involves both inspection and supervision to ensure that all activities are executed in accordance with project specifications and contract documents.
A bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant technical field is required, with RTA/DCL approval preferred. Candidates must have at least seven years of experience in laboratory materials testing and field inspection, preferably on comparable roads and bridges projects in the Middle East.
