The role is responsible for creating effective and efficient maintenance and reliability task plans that include the necessary materials, labor, skills, and tools. The incumbent will ensure safety compliance, assess job site requirements, develop detailed preventive‑maintenance procedures, and manage job plans within the CMMS. They will also coordinate material procurement, maintain equipment documentation, support ISO‑compliant records, and act as a backup for the Maintenance Manager.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Inspect job sites to determine required materials, labor, tools, and skills.
- Develop task-specific preventive maintenance (PM) plans detailing steps, sequence, time estimates, tools, and parts.
- Identify and document skill sets needed for each maintenance step.
- Analyze operational needs and prioritize scheduled work accordingly.
- Create job plans in the CMMS and develop maintenance procedures as needed.
- Set up TPM stations with appropriate tools and supplies.
- Collaborate with site reliability engineer to create detailed PM tasks.
- Request and procure all materials and specialty services required for work orders.
- Generate purchase requisitions for non‑stock items.
- Maintain and update equipment files and bills of materials.
- Revise job plans based on feedback from maintenance craft and supervision.
- Support problem‑solving and cost‑reduction initiatives.
- Maintain ISO‑compliant records and support 5S and TPM implementation.
- Meet deadlines for specialty services and equipment delivery.
- Communicate effectively with team members and train designated backups.
- Provide backup support for the Maintenance Manager.
- Work performed in production lines, warehouses, silos, pumping stations, and office areas.
- Interaction with plant workforce, management, and external contractors.

Candidates must have at least a high school diploma (an undergraduate degree is preferred) and a minimum of three years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting. The position involves physical tasks such as prolonged sitting, frequent bending, lifting up to 50 lb, and working around fast‑moving machinery, with the flexibility to work outside normal hours in a 24/7/365 environment. Familiarity with office equipment and manufacturing machinery—including extrusion, winders, instrumentation, robotics, hydraulics, and pneumatics—is required, as is the ability to operate in production lines, warehouses, silos, and pumping stations while interacting with plant personnel and external contractors.
